Lateral Expansion Joints For Earthquake

Seismic Isolator DK-S8000
- ▶ Installed between the foundation and the building to support building piping and isolate it from the shaking of major earthquakes. Used on important lines such as water supply and drainage, HVAC and fire protection that pass through the isolation layer, to absorb the relative displacement between the ground and the building
- ▶ Cantilevered arms on both end pipes, set at 90° to each other, plus an isolation absorber assembly: a shrouded single-direction seismic absorber in the middle combines multiple Bellows and is unaffected by elongation from internal pressure. It absorbs multi-plane angular displacement energy from major earthquakes and effectively protects the piping

Dual-Axis Multi-Plane Seismic Absorber DK-S2000
- ▶ Cantilevered arms on both end pipes, set at 90° to each other like a compass gimbal, absorb angular displacement in multiple planes and allow angular rotation in any plane. The design restrains the internal pressure thrust and external forces on the piping. Instead of being limited to movement in a single plane, it accepts any angle in any position: pins or pivots connect each perpendicular axis to the other end, and the assembly resists axial thrust and shear.
- ▶ For isolation-layer expansion joints, water supply and drainage, HVAC, cooling and chilled water lines, absorbing the relative displacement between the ground and the building so the piping keeps working normally during earthquakes and other disasters

Double-Loop Expansion Joint DK-S9000
- ▶ Installed between the foundation and the building to isolate it from earthquake shaking, absorbing the relative displacement between the ground and building piping and reducing shaking, so the piping keeps working normally when a disaster occurs
- ▶ Made of two stainless steel flexible hoses and two weldable elbows, designed to allow offset displacement in any horizontal or vertical plane
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Seismic isolation is installed between the foundation and the building to isolate the building from the shaking of major earthquakes. Seismic isolators support building piping and reduce shaking during an earthquake. In base-isolated buildings, important water supply and drainage, HVAC and fire protection lines that pass through the isolation layer use them to absorb the relative displacement between the ground and the building, so the piping keeps working normally when a disaster occurs. Suitable for important horizontal, vertical and double-loop water supply and drainage, HVAC and fire protection lines passing through isolation layers or expansion joints.
