FIRE BARRIER CAULK
High-performance, high-quality intumescent water-based latex firestop caulk with no toxic ingredients. It also absorbs heat, releasing water of crystallization when exposed to fire to lower the surface temperature of penetrating items. When heated it expands to seal voids left by burning materials. No special tools needed; it is not sticky to the touch, dries quickly and does not sag.

A faster, simpler sprayed firestop coating than conventional caulks, for top-of-wall and other construction joints. It bonds quickly to surfaces and forms a soft, flexible seal. Water-based, dries at room temperature, and can be painted.
